Melle Mel has had a lot to say regarding the state of Hip Hop — both past and present — this time, revealing which rappers he believes were better suited as actors, than rappers.
In the latest segment from his conversation with The Art of Dialogue, the legendary Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five rapper suggested that the secret to becoming a successful actor — much like rapping — is to adopt a persona.
But he didn’t stop there. According to Melle Mel, some of Hip Hop’s legends were better actors than they ever were lyricists.
“I thought 2Pac was a better actor than he was a rapper.......

Kendrick Lamar's net worth is a whopping $75 million. After only a decade in the spotlight, this American rapper, producer and songwriter has been called the voice of his generation.
Lamar's Early Days in Compton
Kendrick Lamar Duckworth was born on June 17, 1987. Before his birth, his parents moved from Chicago to the Los Angeles area. Named after Eddie Kendricks of the Temptations (who later had a solo hit with "Keep On Truckin'" in 1974), Lamar was a good student who showed an early talent in writing poetry and stories.
Lamar grew up in Compton and saw plenty of violence in his neighborhood. He witnessed two murders by the time he was 10, and many of......

KXNG Crooked has posed a serious question for his former Slaughterhouse groupmate Joe Budden in an effort to uncover why his recent tirade has called for Logic‘s retirement.
On Friday (March 10), Crook took to social media to inquire as to why Logic’s music has struck such a strong nerve with the media personality.
“Why does dude hate Logic’s music so much? Serious question,” he asked of Budden, before admitting there’s a handful of rappers he’d like to see throw in the towel long before the Maryland rhymer.
“It’s some rappers I wish would retire waaaaaayyy before......

Jim Jones has crowned Drake the greatest rapper of all time during an interview early this week and he has a solid argument to back it up.
During his conversation with Complex, Capo claimed there’s no one more fitting of the G.O.A.T. rapper title than Drizzy. According to Jones, Drake’s 15-year journey in the Hip Hop game has never been seen before.
“I would say he’s the greatest of all time,” the Dipset member stated. “I would just give that to him. And I mean, there’s a lot of people from the beginning and people that invented Hip Hop, I know. But the greatest of all time,......

Kanye West is reportedly among the people who Elon Musk has been consulting with as he plans to build his own town in the state of Texas.

Melle Mel has no doubt that Kendrick Lamar and Eminem are talented, but he does question their influence on Hip Hop culture.
