Boosie Badazz has seemingly taken his daughter Poison Ivi’s emotional message to heart and responded to her recent accusations.
The Louisiana legend took to Instagram on Saturday (September 28) and offered heartfelt tributes to his daughter born Iviona Hatch after she opened up about the frustrations she feels around her father’s incessant comments about her sexuality.
In one, he shared a carousel including a number of pics of him and Poison Ivi. He captioned the post: “NEVER MEANT TO HURT YOU [broken heart emoji] DADDY BBY #Iloveu.”
In a second post, he added: “Yall won’t make Me look like a bad father I love all my kids and I’m a good father.”
In a third, he shared a photo with two of his daughters and wrote: “We good [three a-ok emojis] my babies @theshaderoom @saycheesetv @akademiks @adam22.”

Earlier in the day, the up-and-coming rapper took to Instagram to share an emotional, nearly 15 minute-long clip directed at her father.
“I’m completely fed up with holding my tongue #imhumantoo NEW TAPE IN OCT [100 emoji],” she captioned the post. “smh papasmurf u can feel how u feel everybody is entitled to they own opinion but every chance u get you will not just bash me it’s not about u accepting it because I don’t need u to IM GROWN !! it can be you simply don’t like it and move on … you always rude [100 emoji] love you always !!”
She started the video: “Man, I really don’t even know where to start for real, because this ain’t really my character. I don’t really be getting on here and giving y’all what y’all want. But I feel like my daddy want me to give y’all what y’all want; and he want me to give him what he want as well.”
In the first few moments of the video, Ivi explained that her decision to speak out about her dad’s well documented homophobia was prompted by his recent live interview with Yung Miami. During a live taping of her Caresha, Please podcast, recorded during REVOLT WORLD in Atlanta earlier in September, Boosie made a statement in which he seemingly accused his daughter of “contaminating” her siblings.
“If the world really knew all the things and the hurtful things you told me before and I forgave, you wouldn’t even understand,” she said. “And no matter how you feel? At the end of the day, n-gga I’m yo blood. I am your daughter. And me, I feel like I done been through the most with you. And every time, I turn around, it’s like you bashin’ me. And it’s like, the whole world can go against you, but as a woman, since I been a lil girl, I never would go against you. And I think, I’m really fed up.”
She went on to call her father out for often using religion as a condemnation of her sexual orientation, despite never having been the one to teach her about faith.
