Jeanie Buss isn't ready to dub Bronny James as the Los Angeles Lakers' next high-impact player, but she is a big fan of what she's seen from the second-round pick thus far.
Buss also didn't ignore the elephant in the room regarding the younger James having to overcome being the son of superstar LeBron James. During a recent interview with AM 570 LA Sports, the Lakers owner spoke about allowing Bronny to "prove that he should be in a Laker uniform" while praising his work ethic and dedication.

Scarface has been admitted to a Houston-area hospital, though details about what may have landed him there are scarce.
On Saturday (August 24), the Geto Boys legend shared a post on Instagram, in which he can be seen lying in a hospital bed with a number of tubes and wires attached to his body.
He did not offer details about his condition, only sharing the caption, “Ouch… [three prayer hands emojis] Grateful.” However, gaging from the badge on the medical professional tending to Face in the photo, he appears to be in the ICU at one of Houston Methodist Hospital’s many facilities across the city.

Big Sean appears to have responded to claims that he bit Baby Keem‘s style on his recent single “Yes.”
The Detroit native dropped the song last month, but it was after the accompanying music video was released earlier this week that he was accused of copying Keem’s flow and cadence on the track.

Beyoncé has won her battle with Donald Trump, with the Republican candidate no longer allowed to use her song “Freedom” as part of his campaign.
According to Rolling Stone, Queen B filed a cease and desist against the Trump campaign after his spokesperson Steven Cheung posted a video of the presidential candidate walking off a plane, soundtracked by her 2016 Kendrick Lamar collaboration.
Beyoncé, as well as her record label and publisher, objected to the use of “Freedom” by the Trump team and have successfully blocked them from using the song.

Wale has shared a preview of new song “Ghetto Speak” as part of his long-awaited collaboration with Nike.
The Washington, D.C. rapper, who famously professed his love of the brand on 2008’s “Nike Boots,” is the face of the sportswear giant’s DMV Cherry Blossom Foamposite One campaign.
