Eminem‘s Detroit based WNBA expansion team has been given the go ahead by the league.
The WNBA announced that they will be expanding to 18 teams with Detroit as well as Philadelphia and Cleveland getting their own franchises.
The Detroit team will enter the league in 2029 and is primarily backed by Detroit Pistons owner Tom Gores, who said in a statement: “This is a huge win for Detroit and the WNBA. Today marks the long-hoped-for return of the WNBA to a city with deep basketball roots and a championship tradition. Detroit played a key role in the league’s early growth, and we’re proud to reignite that legacy as the WNBA......

Raekwon has recruited a vast ensemble of rap legends for his new album, The Emperor’s New Clothes.
Released on July 18 through Mass Appeal, the project will have no shortage of guest features.
Unveiling the tracklist for the album, Raekwon will be joined by his Wu-Tang Clan cohorts Ghostface Killah, Method Man and Inspectah Deck as well as Nas.
There will also be a Griselda flavor on the album with Conway the Machine and Westside Gunn also featured.
The Emperor’s New Clothes will be Raekwon’s first solo album since 2017’s The Wild.

50 Cent has offered up his reaction to Diddy being found not guilty of the most serious charges in his sex trafficking trial.
While Diddy was found guilty of engaging in transportation for prostitution, he was cleared of both sex trafficking and racketeering.
The Bad Boy mogul’s frequent foe, 50 Cent, was one of the first to comment on the news.
He wrote on Instagram: “Diddy beat the Rico,that boy a bad man ! he like the Gay John Gotti.”

Benny the Butcher has reignited his feud with Freddie Gibbs after flaming his former collaborator on his new song “Position of Power”.
On the track, the Butcher made reference to the time Gibbs got jumped in Buffalo in 2022 and had his chain snatched.
Benny spat: “Rumors back home that we took some jewels / Some shit that don’t even cost a ‘B’ on my chain. Benny the Butcher the reason these rappers can’t eat in this lane.”

Diddy‘s sex trafficking trial has hit a hitch following questions over a juror.
The jury is currently out for deliberation to decide Diddy’s fate but the team of 12 have sent multiple notes to the judge overseeing the trial.
Members of the jury appear to be alleging that juror number 25 has been failing to follow the instructions of the judge.
The judge sent a note back to the jury informing them that they had a duty to deliberate the case and follow legal orders.
The jury later sent a second note to the judge asking for clarification around his instructions however court was adjourned before......

Eminem‘s daughter, Hailie Jade, has said that she now understands her father’s struggle for privacy better since becoming a parent herself.
Hailie Jade gave birth to her first child in March of this year and has largely looked to protect her baby from the media spotlight.

Will Smith appears to have taken aim at old foe Chris Rock in a new freestyle.
Appearing on Apple Music’s Fire in the Booth series, the iconic rapper and actor looked to save some choice bars for the comedian who he famously slapped on stage at the 2022 Oscars.
While he doesn’t drop Rock’s name, Smith clearly references the incident, spitting: “If you talking crazy out your face up on the stage and disrespect me on the stage, expect me on the stage.”

Scott Storch has hit out at The Roots, claiming the group were “haters” after he began working with Dr. Dre.

Fat Joe has been accused of having sex with minors in a lawsuit filed by his former hypeman, T.A. Dixon.
Seeking up to $20 million in damages, Dixon has accused the “What’s Luv?” rapper of “coercive labor exploitation, financial fraud, sexual manipulation, violent intimidation, and psychological coercion.”
