Rod Wave has decided to take a step back from music after fans seemingly had a negative reaction to his tour being cancelled.
Just moments before he was scheduled to hit the stage in Nashville for his Last Lap Tour on Tuesday (January 28), ticketholders received notice the show was cancelled.

Hip Hop is mourning the death of New Jack City and Above the Rim screenwriter Barry Michael Cooper.
Cooper, whose other credits include the Wesley Snipes movie Sugar Hill and Netflix’s version of She’s Gotta Have It, passed away on Tuesday (January 22) at the age of 66.

JAY-Z‘s Roc Nation has partnered with South Korean fintech company Musicow to offer American fans the chance to invest in music royalties.
According to Billboard, the partnership is being described as “the first Music Equity Service Provider in the United States.”
