There were rumblings earlier this month that The Alchemist did in fact announce said information as "Abi & Alan" was slated to drop Aug. 29.
Apparently, there was some severe confusion as to when The Alchemist and Erykah Badu were going to release Abi & Alan. It's their inaugural collab album and the latter's first record in nearly a full decade. The tape has been highly anticipated with rumblings of it surfacing in March 2025.

Freddie Gibbs has played down his recently tense encounter with noted rival Benny the Butcher at an airport.
The two crossed paths in Paris and shared a few words but Gibbs denied that things were going to get heated between the two.
He said to Complex: “I mean, you saw me standing there. I was just in the airport. Everything that everybody tried to make out of it, that wasn’t true. I didn’t even really, barely even said a word. I was just standing there. I saw him just standing there. Of course, we ain’t in a friendship. What are we gonna do? I ain’t going to jail over that.”

Rampage Jackson's son Raja violently assaulted pro wrestler Syko Stu at a show in Los Angeles after the scripted event got very real.
During a Knokx Pro Wrestling event in Los Angeles, Raja Jackson, the son of former UFC champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, brutally attacked professional wrestler Syko Stu.

Young Dolph‘s alleged killer, Hernandez Govan, has been found not guilty of being behind the late rapper’s murder.
Govan was accused by prosecutors of being the mastermind behind the hit back in 2021 but the jury clearly disagreed and returned a not guilty verdict after just three hours.
Speaking after he was released, Govan said: “Thank you to the jury for getting this right and getting my life back. I knew in my heart I was innocent. Without God, I don’t even think I would have made it this far. I’m just happy to be free.”
