Xzibit has compared working with Dr. Dre to being in The Avengers.
The two have a collaborative partnership going back more than 25 years and recently reconnected for X’s new album Kingmaker with Dre featuring on the track “Leave Me Alone”.
Sitting down for a chat with Billboard, X opened up about what it’s like to work with the legendary producer.

Swizz Beatz is launching a brand new jewelry collection titled ARA x MR DEAN, which will include brooches, cufflinks, necklaces, chain bracelets and two-finger rings.
In collaboration with Brazilian jeweller Ara Vartanian, the collection is described as “an exploration of structure, boldness and shared creative language,” and is designed for daily wear versus strictly formal occasions. It also reflects Swizz’s love of rubellites and emeralds.
According to Something About Rocks, the first launch will be a men’s collection, but they’re aiming for future releases “without gender constraints.”

Kanye West‘s latest single “Heil Hitler” has seemingly been removed from all streaming platforms just a day after its release.
The song was uploaded to Soundcloud but since appears to have been removed while it is also being censored on X following accusations of hate speech.
West hit out at the removal on social media, writing: “Kanye West’s ‘Heil Hitler’ Removed From All Streaming Platforms.”
He also accused platforms of double standards, citing Randy Newman’s controversial song “Rednecks” which features frequent use of the N-word as an example.

Diddy‘s sex trafficking trial is officially under way, and his defense team is coming to the table with the accusation that ex-girlfriend Cassie physically abused him in their relationship.
According to TMZ, the topic came up in the courtroom on day four of the trial after prosecutor Emily Anne Johnson told Judge Arun Subramanian that Victim 1 (who is believed to be Cassie) will not be cross-examined about certain medical issues.
The judge replied saying that whatever issues prosecutors do touch on, the defense can also do so and cross-examine the witnesses on the topic(s).

Fat Joe has claimed that no West Coast artist has ever quite dominated like Kendrick Lamar has over the last year.
Speaking on his new podcast Joe and Jada, the “Make it Rain” star reflected on how Kendrick has become a radio staple since his beef with Drake started.

Lil Durk‘s family have taken aim at the government for using the rapper’s lyrics against him in his murder-for-hire case.
In a statement on Instagram, the drill star’s family hit out at the actions of the prosecution.
They said: “The recent developments in Durk’s legal case have brought a harsh truth to light: the government presented false evidence to a grand jury to indict him. This isn’t justice. That’s a violation of the very system that’s supposed to protect all of us.”

Rhymefest claimed that he was called the n-word by Eminem during a rap battle in the late 1990s.
However, it appears that was not actually the case.
According to AllHipHop, who received complete footage of the rap battle in question from D12’s Kuniva, Eminem does not say the racial slur at any point during the exchange.

The Tennessee Board of Parole recommended on Tuesday (April 22) that the state's Governor consider pardoning Jelly Roll for his past convictions. According to the Associated Press, the board issued its nonbonding recommendation after voting unanimously on the move following a nearly two hour session that included testimony from Nashville Sheriff Daron Hall and several others.
